Terms and Conditions of Trade
Please read the following points carefully as use of our website and purchase of products by you mean that you agree to them.
Shopping with DTA-Motorsport ( UK )
- You can order products displayed on this website (1) by telephoning us (2) by e-mailing, faxing or posting a completed order form or (3) on-line ( coming soon! )
- If you have placed your order on-line, we will quickly send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order. Should this be the case we will contact you with a separate e-mail message.
Prices
- Our prices are shown on our website; We are not VAT registered so there is no VAT included nor payable on our products.
- We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. (If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled). In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment made for the goods will be refunded in full.
- If we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money which you have paid.
Payment
- You can pay for your order by (1) credit/debit card, (2) cheque/bank transfer or (3) PayPal. Facilities for online credit/debit card payments are expected to be in place by July 2008. Please allow up to 7 working days for funds to clear our account.
- If your delivery address is outside the UK your order must be paid for by Credit Card or direct Bank Transfer.
- The prices displayed on our web site are in British Pounds and we currently only accept payment in British Pounds.
Delivery
- We can deliver goods to destinations within the UK and internationally.
- Each product on our website has a specific delivery time for that item of which we will advise you once your order has been received. We aim to deliver goods to destinations in the UK within 28 days from the date of your order. Circumstances outside of our control may delay delivery of your order. In this circumstance we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible.
- UK bound orders are dispatched either by Royal Mail 1st Class, Recorded/Special Delivery or Parcel Post; International deliveries will either be shipped via Federal Express or another courier option. The Recorded/Special deliveries require a signature, so please specify an address where someone will be able to sign for your goods.
- We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the stated delivery time then please contact us by telephone or email. We will try and ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible.
- This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Returns
- We believe that you will be delighted with your product(s) but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Faulty/Damaged Goods You must contact us to make us aware of the problem within 24 hours of receipt of the good/s. You then have 30 days to return the item/s for an exchange or refund. Postage costs incurred by the customer will be refunded upon presentation of the postage receipts. We can also arrange collection of the item/s at our cost. Replacement item/s will not be shipped out before the original item/s are returned. The only exception is if the customer purchases the replacement item. In this event the replacement item/s can be sent out immediately and the payment will be refunded when the original item/s are returned. We will cover all applicable and reasonable postage costs incurred.
If you return an item to us, please contact us by telephone (on 0845 4744-382) or email ( info@dta-motorsport.co.uk ) to inform us. We usually ask that you send items back to us via the same method the item was posted to you or we can arrange for collection. Please obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office to enable us to track the package.

Goods not required Distance purchasing customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days from the dat of receipt of the item/s. Goods returned within this seven working day cooling off period will not be charged a restocking and handling fee.
If the goods are returned outside the seven working day cooling off period then a 20% restocking and handlilng fee will be levied to cover internal processing costs involved in goodes being returned. Please note that in this event the customer is responsible for the costs of returning the item/s to us.
Responsibilities
- We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
- We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
- You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
- We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
- This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

- All rights in the designs and information on our website are owned by us and the respective copyright owners who have given us permission to use their logos, images and information on our website. They are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights.
- You may view, copy and print portions of our website for the sole purpose of placing an order with us. The materials on our website may not be used for any other purpose without prior written consent from us.
- We will use the information which you provide and the records of items you buy to constantly monitor and improve our service and for marketing purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- DTA-Motorsport (UK) will not sell or otherwise make available any personal information collected via the website to any third party, unless the buyer has specifically opted-in to the data-sharing agreement.
