About Us

DTA-Motorsport (UK) was established in 2003 as part of the Zaat International Ltd group of companies. Company founder and director, Dan Zaat, has long held a soft spot for any and all exotic sports cars. Originally a supplier of performance parts for Nissan's first real super car, the 1990-1996 300ZX Twin Turbo, DTA quickly became involved in other high performance marques. In 2005 specialist parts for the Honda NSX were added to the line up and from there a natural progression to Lamborghini was achieved in mid 2006. DTA-Motorsport (UK) has no ambition to become a supplier to mass produced sports cars, instead we chose to specialise in low-volume super car marques. Providing unsurpassed customer service and complete client satisfaction is our number one priority.

DTA-Motorsport (UK) is a member and sponsor of many Owners Clubs and online car forums, including The NSX Club of Great Britain, Lamborghini Club UK and The 300ZX Club. We attend numerous events throughout the year and organise specialist events to bring together like-minded enthusiasts.

In July 2007 we acquired Smithy's Place, the Isle of Man based reseller of custom manufactured stainless steel and carbon fibre parts for Nissan's 300ZX. Integrating the two companies and their respective product lines has been a long and laborious process but the end result will be a One-Stop-Shop for the best 300ZX performance parts available in the UK and Europe.

DTA-Motorsport (UK) is strictly an online company. We do not occupy commercial premises nor do we offer installation facilities. Most of our products allow for DIY installation by the car owner and all are provided with extensive installation guides. We do however understand that certain products require professional installation and we have established alliances with various specialists throughout the UK and Europe where professional installation of our products can be arranged.
